F.A.A.S.Q.'S (Frequently Asked Art Snake Questions)

The Art Snake Artists website has been so barraged with question lately we have decided to have our own F.A.A.S.Q section.  Here you can find all the answers to those important question about his years Snake Around The Lake.

When the heck is it?

July 4th and 5th.

What hours do I need to have my studio open?

10 am to 4 pm both days

Can I spread my work hither and yon like Les Scruggs does?

Sure.  We suggests you ask permission from your neighbors before doing so.

When will the cards and posters be done?

If all goes like planned we are hoping to have them around the middle of June. We'll make sure everyone gets some.

Does Jamey and Susan really have two girls?

Yes but we are not sure if they have pulled the proper permits for them.

How many artists can I have at my location?

As many as you want but they all need to pay the $35 expense fee.

What actually was in the lemonade the Duvall's served last year?

No one really knows but it was reported that their sales were excellent.

Will there be a After The Snake Party this year?

Any volunteers?

Welcome Artists--Important sign up Information

Welcome to the official 2009 Art Snake Artists blog. This is ground zero, Art Central, the kitchen table, the hub of all things Art Snakey.

The 2009 SATL will be held JUly 4th and 5th 10am- 4 pm.

The Art Snake now has a email account. Yes we are quite impressed with ourselves. The 2009 Art Snake email address is.....artsnake@gmail.com..... If you have a question that does not get answered here email them and Art Snake will try to answer the question here on the blog for everyone to benefit.

A fabulous first Art Snake meeting was hosted by The Duvall's. If you missed it you missed a lot of good snake food. Post Cards and a new 2009 Poster are being designed as we speak. It was also decided at the meeting TWO VERY IMPORTANT  first steps.

STEP ONE.

Everyone who wants to participate in the 2009 Art Snake must sign up here by TUESDAY JUNE 2nd.  Art Snake cannot stress enough how important this is.  We are on a very tight schedule to get the cards printed so we need to have people sign up today.   How do you do that?  Just comment to this post by  clicking the  'COMMENT'  button below.   Enter your name, phone, address, and email address and website URL if you have one,  AND what you will be showing i.e paintings, sculptures.  WE NEED THIS INFORMATION BY JUNE 2 for you to be included in this years event. Make sure all information is correct and complete. This is the information that will be listed on the official postcard and commemorative/ collectable poster.

STEP TWO

Entry fee for the 2009 SATL is $35. ( NOTE  Each person participating is required to pay $35.)  This will be used to pay our printing and promotional costs. Any left over will be used to buy Jamey a new pair of pants. IMPORTANT- your $35 needs to be RECEIVED  by JUNE 5th. Checks should be made out to Michael Duvall.
